How Facebook is stealing my ideas...

To many people, Facebook is an addiction nowadays. I have heard of people seeking Psychiatrist's help to deal with Facebook Addiction. Recently I heard this story of a boy, who becomes really restless, if the internet or power fails while he is at home. weird right?


Anyways, I was thinking that biggest problem with Facebook use is, its so engaging and eats up all your free time. But even severe issue is the way it drains away the creative ideas and thoughts in the form of posts and comments. Unlike a book or blog, facebook does not give easy access to our old posts to the people. Its true that it has the incredible power to make your words reach to many users. But as the times pass by your posts will be pushed downwards and hardly anyone would read them again.


I have been posting my thoughts over FB. But now i feel, its better to blog than use FB, even if only less number of people would reach to my blog posts, it will be there for others to read later.

Conclusion : Blogging is better than FB posting! 

Cat Puzzle...

Here is one interesting Puzzle for cat lovers:

One black cat and one white cat got married. The wife cat gave birth to 5 healthy normal kittens. 2 of them were white, 3 of them had both back and white fur. Some of them were female kittens and some of them were males. Then what is the color of mother? At the least how many female kittens were born? 

Note: world is so strange that anything can happen in any way, but somethings are very much predictable always. And don't waste time by googling

I am planning to write a series of blogs about sustainable solutions to several critical issues that our world is facing. Wait patiently and please come back here once in while to see the updates :)

Recently, I have conducted one experiment on a different style of farming. I'm not sure whether I'm the one who has tried it for the first time. But the idea genuinely came from my own mind. It is a sustainable and 100% natural way of farming. I'll be posting my experiences soon.

Mothers- they are so special... I use to feel... they love, they care, they sacrifice their interests, their selfishness... they will suffer anything... any pain... all for one and one thing in this world - her kid.

Your life may be full of miseries... you may fail... you may be broken up into pieces... the whole world may turn their backs on you... but one person on this earth will never give up on you... your mother!

You may hurt them in the course of life knowingly or unknowingly... mentally or physically... She may shout at you... she may fight back with you.... but deep inside she has it.. the never ending ocean of love for one and only one thing .... you, her kid.

You may not talk to her, you may not share any of your needs or sorrows with her... but she will surprise you by doing what ever you need, all by herself... with out waiting for you to ask... she will help you forgive the pains in life... all without you telling her.... Mothers - they are super beings... let it be of human or of any other living thing...

Just like that my mother also keep on surprising me... by giving answers for the issues in my life, those i have never shared with anyone... How she does it??? I don't know... at times i feel that she is the person who knows me the most... It feels like she knows exactly what I am going through where ever I am... It makes me believe the bond between the mother and her child prevails even after umbilical cord is cut... after all I came from her... I was part of her... and may be still I am part of her... wot ever it is.... I am still surprised how they do it...  !!!!!!!

Motherhood is what makes a woman's life Complete!!!!

About another close contact with an IITian

Here at my college, we have been enjoying the lectures by a well known proffessor from IIT Madras for the last two days. Its none other than Prof. Kalyana Krishnan. The seminar was organized by the computer science department for the first year Mtech students and 2nd year Btech students. The topic was Computer organization.

Though the topic was known to most of the Mtech students, it seemed like new information. The IITians usually have a different approch towards presenting anything. They start from the basics and explain different sub topics as the move up by linking them the most practical way. the linking makes it more interesting all the time. coz thats how all our brain works. They dont jump or get stuck! that's what makes the talks by IITian so special.

I was not here to talk about what he had tought us about computers. But I'm here to talk about one of his work at IITM. Its a text editor. just a text editor? No its a multilingual text editor.

The Editor will allow you to use english key board to type any Indian language and forign languages like Arabic etc and even Brailie.Once the content is typed in you can change the language and the text will be transcripted to that language. It has won the honor from the former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul kalam. You can download the software from here

This is an open source project now called imli

I think it will be a good tool to learn braili and sanskrit. It could be a coincidence tha that I have watched the movie called "Book of Eli". And when the professor showed the editor during the session the first thing that went in to my head was this... how the movie would have ended if the villian in the movie had this editor with him :)

Anyways the the lectures were wonderful.

My Brother got married today!

I had couple of busy weeks as my brother was to get married today. And I am glad to inform everyone that everything went just fine and perfect.

So wishing my brother and my sis-in-law, A happy married life!!!
