Home Alone!!!

Year-end holidays are ahead. Many of my friends those who are working or settled abroad are back in my city, Cochin. And my friends in Hyderabad are also heading home. They are all thrilled about going home after a long wait. And I'm also virtually thrilled. May be an induction effect. Who won't be happy to see someone close to you smiling and happy!

I already started to get forwarded emails wishing advance Happy Christmas and A happy New year. Hmm yea its just days away. An eye opening finding, 2009 is about to be history! But I'm happy. I had a lot and loads of nice time and new experiences this year. Met a bunch of beautiful souls. Got some cute and sweet friends. Learned a lot of new things. And... wait, i still have 10 more days to go. And we will talk about the year later.

So, as I mentioned my inmates are about to go home. And its another 'Home Alone' that's waiting for me. A Christmas, a new year, and more over 12 lonely(?) days. But i have already got few things in my mind. I'm in the heat of some exams that is about to start from 3rd January. So this could be the last post of this year. I'm busy of wishing my online friends and cousins in advance.

For the last 2-3 years, the most hated thing by me was being alone! But now it feels bit different. Being alone is vital at times. A time for self rediscovery. Its time to be myself. And more over its the best time to invest to make 2010 even more wonderful. And i hope there will be more intersting things next year to write about.

Why should i blog???

Yes, question is why should anyone blog????
Anyone who reads this knows the answer. Its to express one's views and thoughts about anything and everything in his world.

Blogs has lots of power. I always use to read them. And it use to benefit me, especially over my job. Long back, I also have decided to start blogging. But all the time I have thought of writing my first blog, I got confused. Where to start? What i will write in my first blog?? It should be a good one as the saying goes - ' First impression is the best impression'. And that first blog never happened due to the perfectionist in me.

But very recently I met a Lady online. (Not mentioning the name). A total stranger except the fact that she is the sister of a friend of mine. I should say I have learned much more about her from her blogs and Orkut profile than i could have known otherwise. So blogs work.

Its about showing to the world who you are and what you are....
Its about telling them what you think and how you think....
Its the easiest(?) way to make a permanent mark somewhere in this world.

So purpose is clear. Now, should i use formal language or casual??? Should i use those hard and unfamiliar words and force someone to keep a pocket oxford dictionary with him always or use simple English that even a first standard student can digest???

Yes, simple is beautiful. A blogger need not be a verbal juggler. So that issue is also over. Now, time - when to blog??? how frequently??? hmm, we are not computers to keep strict counters and timers. I'll blog when ever i get time, and when ever i feel to tell something to the world :)
